STEPHANIE YANKOVICH, RMT
I'm always amazed by the profound effect that therapeutic touch can have on our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and I endeavour to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment at my Toronto-based practice, that promotes better health through massage therapy and movement. Whether you're seeking relaxation and restoration, relief from stress and pain, or rehabilitation for an injury, I'll work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs. With extensive experience as a personal trainer, coach and fitness instructor, I bring a creative and dynamic approach to my massage practice. By integrating movement assessment, massage treatment and functional movement practice, I strive to restore functionality and mobility, and provide you with the tools you need to direct your own healing. I completed my massage therapy training at Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 2014, and was the recipient of the Sutherland-Chan Professional Clinics Award for academic excellence. In addition to my private practice, I've provided massage therapy treatments at Toronto Western Hospital, Therapy Lounge and Ryerson University Massage Clinic. |
I've had the opportunity to treat a diverse client population, including amputees, MVA and post-surgical clients at Toronto Western Hospital; clients with Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, POTS, EDS, MS and other CNS disorders; stroke and breast cancer survivors; seniors; prenatal and postnatal clients, and high-risk pregnancy patients at Sunnybrook Hospital; amateur and professional athletes, professional musicians; and individuals with a variety of fractures and soft tissue injuries. I'm a former canfitpro PRO TRAINER, a personal trainer, kettlebell coach, and teach kettlebell group fitness classes. |
